Hi! I'm Sam.

Struggling to find motivation?

Published 5 months ago • 1 min read

I always have this intention of emailing more with fitness tips, advice, and general help toward your goals but for some reason or another, it never happens.

Perhaps you can relate. You get ready to work on your health but for some reason or another, it just doesn't happen.

And before you know it - like my emails, months pass in the blink of an eye and nothing happens.

But look, like I tell my clients. It's more important what you're currently doing than what you have been doing.

So take this email as me taking action and motivating you to take action too.

And to motivate you a little more - I'll offer anyone who gets all 5 questions right - 2 FULL personal training sessions with a body fat assessment and a full body workout to take to the gym. (And an open dialogue on your current diet).

There's no obligation to train with me - I have enough clients on a weekly basis as is, but we all need a little nudge from time to time.

Ready?

1/ How many sessions have I done this year?

A) 984 B) 1331 C) 1534

2/ How many sessions has the most consistent client completed this year?

A) 99 B) 78 C) 118

3/ How long have I trained my longest client?

A) 2 Years B) 4 Years C) 5+ Years

4/ How many sessions have I done this month?

A) 144 B) 122 C) 102

5/ How many pull-ups can my strongest female client do in one go?

A) 3 B) 5 C) 8

Bonus/ Aaand how many times have people moaned about the Assault Bike AKA Devil's Bike?

A) Too much 😂

If you want to enter, just reply to this with your answers and I'll let you know ...

And if you're a little stuck right now in getting in shape, and not sure what you need to be doing - reply too and I'll offer my two cents.

As always, stay safe.

Have an incredible New Year and of course, if you celebrate - Merry Christmas.

Enjoy the time with your loved ones, don't worry if you eat a little more than you wanted to - it happens. On to the next meal...

Strength Coach and Personal Trainer

I'm a strength coach with my own private studio nestled in Northwood high street.

One of my clients is off on business to Australia and NZ over the next two weeks. She's a highly decorated RAF personnel. One of the issues, besides getting over jet lag is the limited time she has to train, around 30 mins per day - 5:30am to 6. It's a horrible time to train at the best of times, let alone jet lag creeping its way in and trying to throw you off course. Couple that with menopause, and a decrease in strength (due to time of training and the late-night traveling), here's what I...

I've always been someone to live in the moment Reader. Holidays, equipment, courses. If I want it, I'll buy it. (And then usually worry about the consequences afterward 😂). That is, until I started talking to my clients who are investors, hedge fund managers, and CFOs of start-ups. For them, money has always been at the forefront of their mind. How can I make the most of what I have? So a little while ago, I started to invest my money in stocks, shares, and index funds. You know, the S&P500,...

The first question I inevitably get when chatting with clients, or at randomers at a bar when I tell them what I do is... 'What do I eat then?' Whilst it means well, it opens up a can of worms and the so-called client/stranger clinging to every word that I'm about to say. As if I have the magic pill that will transform the way they eat then and there. But let's be honest, we all know how to eat and what to eat. At least I hope we do, and if not - I'll answer it here and now. To get lean,...
